Teriyaki Chicken and Rice

Hey everyone! Today I just wanted to write a quick recipe for you. This is one of my mom and I's favorite meals. It's really simple to make and it's one of those meals that tastes unhealthy when it's actually really healthy!


Serves 4

Ingredients-

2 large chicken breasts

1/4 cup of coconut aminos

2 T of maple syrup

2 T of apple cider vinegar

1 t of chives*

1 t of ginger*

salt & pepper to taste


Directions-

1. Start boiling water and add some brown rice once it starts to boil.

2. Add some sliced chicken breast in a pan with a dash of water.

3. Add all of the ingredients in with the chicken and turn heat on low.

4. The After about 10 minutes, the sauce should begin to thicken and the chicken should be cooked through.

5. Serve with your choice of vegetables!

*I don't usually measure spices, so this is a rough estimate. It should taste fine if you just eyeball it.
